I have enjoyed several films now with this great baby.

Resolution is great for the type of projector. Not excellent but absolutely good for seeing a film at home. At least much better than buying a 2 to 3 thousand dlls TV and providing an image that could be as big as twice the biggest TV or even more.

Noise is a bad point; but, with an accurate home theater system with the perfect sound level, you forget about the noise.

The problem is that my wife hates loud sound in home theaters and when we used to go to the movies, so I have to watch movies at home with a very low volume level. That makes this device noise to be fairly noticeable. Yet acceptable.

But, all in all, if you don't have a wife that hates good level of volume (note that I didn't say "loud volume"... just a level as acceptable as most movie watcheres fans), this problem does not exist.

And definitely, why would I buy any other projector in the 1000 to 5000 Dlls that gives me pretty much the same?

The sanyo PLV-Z1 is simply the best thing I've purchased recently.
