If you have an interest in sharks and/or diving, this is a great game. Other reviews go into detail on the actual dives so I won't bother with that aspect. At the start of each dive mission my heart rate starts to increase, so when a shark approaches and you begin to hear a heartbeat on the computer it can make you jump. The clarity of the water is realistic so that you may be warned that a shark is near but can't see it yet. Very realistic and great graphics. Short missions make it ideal for someone who doesn't want to spend all night on the computer. Additionally, at the harder levels, those short missions become longer when you get eaten and have to try over and over again.

This game will probably kill some middle-aged guy with a heart problem. No matter how many times I play it, I always end up having to pause while I slow down my breathing. It has that really creepy feeling of being out in the open while trying to see the shark (or sharks), that are closing in on you. The shark detector pulses while you're searching left and right only to be attacked from above or below you! Hunting the great white? They should change it to "Hunted By The Great White"!
On a technical note, the graghics are ok but not lifelike. The sharks look like computer generated sharks, and the underwater scenes are somewhat better. The mouse sensitivity is great, not too fast or slow, and there are no jerky starts when you move around. There's not a lot of blood and gore, some bleeding when you're attacked the first time, then a bitten fin when you're killed. Overall, I would definately recommend buying this game.

I love this game and it is very exciting to play. It does play on Win XP home with a good graphics card. You can finish the game in one day if you are good, that is the down side. The shark-pedia in informative. Good buy.

This is a GREAT game. Highly reccomended. But, as the other reviewers said, it's NOT for the faint of heart.
