Great buy [Posted on 2008-05-21] This microwave is simple to use with great power & all sorts of features--popcorn setting, melt, soften & other presets. It is definitely worth the money. Quiet & sleek looking as well. Great choice.
Very good microwave [Posted on 2008-06-01] This is the 3rd Sharp microwave we have owned, it's as good as the others. The stainless steel exterior adds a little more class.
Did Not Work! [Posted on 2008-06-07] Made a loud noise when I plugged it in, it got very HOT and the noise did not stop!!! It scared me that it might start a fire so I returned it. Amazon was great, took it back, gave me a full refund plus my shipping expense!
chinnnie [Posted on 2008-06-13] Clean lines, powerful, & easy to use (& would probably be easier to use if I would read the manual.)
No complaints.
Easy to clean inside and out. The stainless skin seems to be thin but so far (2 months w/ kids in the house) it has not shown any signs of failure. A great value.
Works well so far; LCD fogs up [Posted on 2008-07-30] Have only had for a few days, so perhaps a review is premature? Regardless, it arrived in good working condition, and is a microwave. Is there much else to say?
On the negative side, from day one, nuke one, the LCD panel fogs up from steam from the inside of the microwave I'd assume. Now, I'm no electronics design guru, but that can't be good sign for the life of the internal components.
It replaced my old Amana, which was over 20 years old, working like a champ, but starting to spark a bit. That thing was half microwave, half Russian nuclear sub. Somehow I'm doubting this one will make the 20 year mark.
