You get what you pay for... [Posted on 2007-06-04]
It was worth the $7 but that's about it. You MUST replace all the batteries or else it will just make noise and light up, it won't move. Getting it out of the packaging was a nightmare but doable. My biggest complaint is that it just doesn't do much. Sat you press the A on the bus... it says "A!" and then plays a silly tune. But it just has ABC and 123 and that's it. You press the A on the remote and it does the samem thing except it rolls forward and rolls back, whoppie lol. My toddler gets frustrated with it because it will roll out of distance or she won't have the remote pointed just right and it won't work. But when it works she likes it ok. If you have to pay more than $7 with free shipping on it just say no, otherwise just know you're getting an ok $7 toy.

I like it even if it didn't move. [Posted on 2007-06-13]
It's fun. I hold the remote and make the bus talk and my grandson goes after it. I don't know if it's worth nearly $40, but for the discounted price I paid, it was a bargan. I think it's a great toy. It's large and colorful, the songs are fun and there are lots of buttons for my grandson to push. He likes pushing it around, so even if it didn't move on it's own, I'd like it anyway. BTW, to make it move, I have to hold the remote and press on the forward or reverse buttons. It doesn't just move because you push a letter or number or shape. It only moves with the two buttons on the remote. I wonder if those that have problems with it moving realize that.

The price tells it all [Posted on 2007-06-18]
I don't know why it says "Remote control". It HAS a wire about a foot long that connects control buttons and the bus. It is definately not a remote. I wouldn't have bought it if I knew it has a wire. The picture conceivably hid the wire.

It's a lot of fun!!! [Posted on 2008-03-29]
I bought 5 of these when the price was really low. One for my own son who's now 2. I don't understand the people that said it doesn't work. All you have to do is change the batteries!!!!!!!! On both the bus and the remote control. And for the person with the wire issue, you remove the wire, you would know if you'd read the instructions!!!!!!

I had my nieces over, who are 12 and 10 and they played with it more than my son did, it's a great product and the price is unbelievable!

This works OK, however it is hard to navigate and control....probably would be good for children ages 4 and up....
