Far from Roller Coaster and Zoo tycoon [Posted on 2004-08-01]
Short and simply put.. If you have been a Roller Coaster and Zoo Tycoon player - I feel you will be really disappointed in Shrine Circus Tycoon.. One thing is you cannot back off far enough to see where your placing things.. Thus, the Circus can become quite a mess of a lay out with zoo goings constantly feeling lost. And there is no place to go to help them from feeling lost.. There is just far to much to list in regards to what I don't like about this game.. Maybe the younger folks will have a better time with it - but I doubt that.. For us old time Tycoon players - no thanks.. Very disappointed.

Althought it is a little Better than Zoo Empire (big thumbs down)..

I do enjoy the game however it has a number of bug problems crashing and guests getting stuck - hope for a patch soon. I enjoy the game play it has potential for growth add ons and such. some of the campaigns are tough. The game could be better with some additional items and the bugs worked out. I really like it. Difficult at times and easy at times. My children, ages 13 and 7 all enjoy this game. It has great graphics, and lots of challenges. Our smallest one often needs help, but so do I. We all seem to be able to work together, including my husband, to get us through. Again what a great game!!!

Finally a great tycoon game this was what i was hoping for circus tycoon....atari did an excellent job...all the shows are from rl circus acts....literally hours and hours of fun....this game would be great for the little ones i greatly recommend it is like having the circus in your home on your pc....everything from the bicycle boys to the clown car is in this game for $20 this game is worth every penny...plus the graphics are pretty good unlike most other tycoon games :) atari i only have one thing to say for you start making more tycoon games!

i love it so much. its amazing the way you can play games and train animals. i have hired allot of help but im making allot of money. also i had the best time desighning my circus and keeping evryone happy. its a must buy and its a must and i mean MUST play. especially fun for girls AND boys. any age. the setting up is easy. one problem is that every week it stops working and i have to install it again and built a new circus. but who cares the replay is great.
