The only thing I found wrong with this product is that as a consumer, I didnt take the time to search to see if this was in fact a battery charger. I had the idea of a power adaper being something which could charge my voice recorder (seeing as the power input is at the bottom of the recorder). I am very happy with this adaptor...it turned my portable cd player/radio into an electric appliance saving on battery use. I purchased small speakers so i can use it when I do tai chi, dance or cook. It can also be used worldwide. The price and service are excellent. Thanks.

Excellent AC Power Adaptor [Posted on 2007-09-15]
I am very happy when using this Adapter. I am using it for my Sony ICD-MX20DR9 because it saves my batteries when synchronizing with my pc or when using it in home. This Adapter is not including my ICD-MX20DR9 box. It's folding plug blade save place sceptically when moving some where. I recommend this for all Sony products that needs 3V in.

Buyer Beware: No Power Adaptor [Posted on 2008-01-13]
The sound is okay, but I don't recommend this item for one simple reason: no power cord. It doesn't state (at least in the description above) that there's no power cord included with this unit. That costs extra time and hassle. There are a lot of units out there that do come with a power adaptor: buy one of those instead.

I have 6 Sony MX-20 digital recorders and I got tired of replacing AAA batteries so I purchased 3 of these AC adapters and they work just fine. The cord is extra long so it is very convenient to use.
