If you want to control your music then this is what you should buy. [Posted on 2007-08-11] This product is a hands free headset/headphones for most sony ericsson phones. I used it with my w810. It works very well. The sound quality is just like the quality from the headphones that came with the w810. This thing lets you control the volume, change songs, and stop and start your music without having to reach into your pocket. The only thing that is keeping me from giving this 5 stars is that there is a slight delay after you push the button. Basically it takes a second or two for the phone to react once you give it a command. This can be kind of annoying. Its not a deal breaker though. Overall this is a very nifty device.
Great feature, poor craftmanship [Posted on 2007-11-14] yeah I got this handsfree for my sony z710i,the device was horrible compared to the oem headphones that came with the phone. I lost reception on radio signal, and it was tempermental depending on how the wire would bend. Basicly it only lasted me 1 month worth of use. The only good thing about this handsfree set is the earbuds, much better than stock. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, since it's poorly made.
Let's Be Real - Headphones [Posted on 2007-11-16] Now this was the headset that went with the Sony W810i originally, but I had trouble getting them from AT&T, they sent me Jabra BT620 wireless, great if you are at home kickin' back, but a bit to bulky for out and about. The Sony Ericsson HPM-82 headset are the ones that fit the cell phone, light weight, remote to change songs or stations, also has a volume control. It is sad that I had to come to Amazon for the third time to purchase items for my cell phones. Great headset for the price and not refurb, brand new, Amazon comes through again and to top it off with a better deal.

Fine. not like the original received with the phone [Posted on 2008-04-20] Fine. not like the original received with the phone, the original with the phone had far better sound compared to this
Poor sound quality [Posted on 2008-05-02] I was very disappointed with the sound quality, which can only be described as "muddy". Sony appears to have favored the bass with these earbuds thus high frequencies are attenuated. I did a side-by-side comparison between the Sony earbuds and a pair of $15 JVC earbuds using both my phone and an MP3 player. Five out of Five people felt the JVC earbuds were much better, and all five would not buy the Sonys. Unfortunately with a 50% restocking charge and return shipping it isn't worth returning these - $35 out the window. Hopefully others will learn from my mistake.
