I am very pleased i bought this battery, it gives me plenty of time to do what i need to do. I have been able to work on my new vaio up to three hours. I do believe it is worth the money down to the last penny.

I really prefer my UX with the standard battery because of comfort, weight and lool, the problem is that the standard doesn't last any long.
This battery it's by far the most expensive battery i've ever bought in all my life, make you use your palm sized personal computer for at least 3 hours which is good.
It's on the weighty side which is not so good and adds too much to the size of the computer.
If you have the Sony leather case for the Vaio UX series, the computer won't fit in the case with this battery on.
It is very clear that if what you need is more battery life, you'll be pleased by the performance of this battery that even when not as good as a MacBook battery performance, it's certainly good compared to the standard batt but at a cost. (money, weight and size)
Some day in the near future, maybe we'll see standard sized batt which lasts for about 6 hours and then i'll really be glad to shell +/- $300 for it but for now, it is a necessary evil.

Made in Japan but...dead. Laptop does not even recognize it's plugged in. I lost my 6 hrs worth of work on my business trip due to this battery which I purchased directly from Sony. Sony told me these are meant to be replaced every year. Somehow my double A's last longer than this. This was also my back up battery, I've only used this twice.

It works super. Extends the runtime to almost 4 hours.
