On My 2nd Battery in about a year and a half [Posted on 2007-12-14]
I just called Sony after having my 2nd battery die (I've had my Sony Vaio laptop about a year and a half). They said that batteries are only warrantied for 90 days. The second battery lasted less than 6 months (and I do not use my lap top as my primary computer). I'm not sure what the standard battery life is, but 6 months seems kind of short.

This product is fine and just like the one that comes with you computer. If your computer battery can longer hold a long charge than you'll just need to shell out for a new battery.

This a good battery for me, although it might not be too good for those who wish to play games while in battery mode. I do not play games, so I am satisfied with it. Zorica

Purchased the battery for my Sony Vaio VGN-SZ160P about 3 months ago and it works just as well as when the computer was originally purchased 2 years ago. It's unfortunate that the battery needs to be replaced within 2 years, especially at such a high price point ($171.99). I guess that comes with the territory.
