I am a new Mac convert, and I searched high and low to find the absolute best, cheapest macbook pro cover. This cover is fabulous. It keeps my macbook pro safe, and only slightly hampers the range of motion of the screen (but really only slightly). I would recommend this cover to anyone - even considering the kind of expensive price.

The Speck Mac Book Pro 15" case protects my laptop extremely well and makes it very attractive to the eye. It fits snugly inside my Incase mac book pro bag. It is easy to remove for periodic cleaning, unless you wish for debris to scratch and tarnish such a beautiful machine.

This product is terrific and I have no complaints. It is a very good buy.

I keep the case on my computer at all times. It is a really good product, i don't know why people say this scratches up you computer. There are little silicon pads for the top and bottom parts that keep it afloat and make sure the case doesn't even touch the computer. now i don't have to worry about scratching one of my big investments.

Good shape, but is essentially plastic [Posted on 2008-05-17]
The case fits the MacbookPro perfectly, and the case makes it really easy to find all the ports with your fingers (if you plug in the headphone cable a lot, you know what I mean). But the case appears to be made of plastic, and it can be difficult to justify paying so much for what is essentially plastic. But so far, I like the case, and don't really have any complaints. I just hope it actually helps somewhat. I'm sure it will prevent scratches, and when it's on the unit it looks great, but I don't know what other protection it will really provide.

I feel greatly relieved to have this case for my Macbook Pro (especially while I'm traveling). Many reviews that I read said that they had to file down a portion of it so it would open all the way, I didn't have this problem at all. Straight from the box, popped it on, off I went. The clear case is great. You can hardly notice any scratches and I have lots of fun putting pictures or the like underneath to really make it more personalized.
