This game is pretty good! [Posted on 2004-09-12] For a Spongebob game, this one is really good. A few of the mini games are a little hard for younger children, but they are generally fairly simple. Recommended to ages 7+.
Many hours of fun! [Posted on 2004-11-29] I bought this for my 6-year old daughter and we both enjoyed many hours of quality fun playing through all the different puzzles and games. One of the best game purchases I made.
a great game!! [Posted on 2005-07-12] battle for bikini bottom is a great game!!
it works on my computer perfectly except on some parts
the computer freaks out but anyway the games are fun especially the one where you slice robots with a wooden sword but no violence nothing like battery fluid dripping just the robots fall down and jump back up a few seconds after getting slashed.
and i like the one with mr. krabs and he has to wrestle robots!
and you csn do a quiz about the characters too they ask you questions and they free you friends!! and sandy's game is good too you have to lasso the robots before they can get to you or else sandy spins around like she being electrocuted and then she falls asleep and patrick's where he's the superhero called da da!! "THE PINK MENACE!!!" and he walks around on the streets punching robots and they fall apart. and there's another where you flip swicthes and then you walk around the chum bucket.and the graphics are good too like "employee of the month"
Why do the publishers treat PC users this way? [Posted on 2005-07-29] If you shop around for this game, you'll notice that there is a PC, PS2 and XBOX version - the boxes are almost identical. The XBOX and PS2 versions are actual 3-D adventures where you get to control the various characters of Bikini Bottom with some mini-games added-in. The console versions of the game are pretty good. The PC version IS NOT! It is basically a series of mind-numbing mini-games and 2-D platforming that tends to frustrate the kids more than anything else. My kids got tired of getting stuck and gave up.
The funny part is that most XBOX and PS2 games are originally created with programming tools on the PC - so why create such a simplified uninteresting game for the PC user. Must have to do with licensing agreements so it won't compete with the consoles.
I would avoid this game and let THQ know that they should create the same game for all the platforms they release it on (even if they need to charge the same price as the console version)!
i havn not had so much fun [Posted on 2005-09-05] this is a very fun game. it has allot of hard/easy games. i dont mean easy as in boring i mean easy as fun. example: dress up spongebob. and hard is like you gotta try and try. it also has trivia. the replay is so fun its 5/5. it has 5 chapters in 5 diffrent places. (your choice on were to go) oh and in each chapter there is 6 games. WOW!!! fun fun fun. you can be all the characters as in squidward, patrick, plankton, spongebob, and sandy. its worth every penny. hope you get it and i hope you dont listen to the bad reviews because you have NO installing problems and its not ONLY for children, teens and adults enjoy it too. i got it a year ago and i still love it. see ya!
