When I first saw the box of the Spongebob movie game for PC, I thought it was gamecube, XBOX, and PS2 version. When I bought the game and started to play, I was really dissapointed. The whole game has extremly nothing to do with the real movie. How come in level 3: part 2: Thug Tug, you talk to the thugs. You have to defeat the thugs, not be nice them. In Level 4: Free Mindy. is very stupid. Why was Mindy grounded. Don't waste your money on this crap. Buy the Gamecube version better

i will tell you 5 reasons why you should get this game and five reason why people say its bad. (my 2 brothers agree with me)

why is it good????
1.you get 8 chapters with 2 hours of fun in each chapter(6 hours if you dont know the answers.)
2.each chapter is challenging and you have to use your mind. (like in chapter 2 or 3 when your in the castle you have to figure out what to do to get inside without the gaurds finding out)
3.very good graphics
4. does not follow EVERYTHING of the movie plot line. and thats cool, because you see things you never did in the movie!
5.you get to play every character!(oh yah, the sound is good too)

why do people hate it????
1.the replay is bad. you would never want to play it again because you know the answers!!!
2.some plots wont happend untill the next day. so when you think your stuck in the game its not your falt the game is just late with the answers.
i give up i cant think of a 3.

so its your choice, i told you everyhting you need to know!

Hello I am 11 years old. I bought this game last christmas eve becasue I saw commercials of the video game and decided to get the PC verison. I thought the game would be the same as console versions and the movie. When I played it on Christmas morning, I was dead wrong. There is no battle and driving levels in the game. Spongebob does not act heroic in the game. He just acts like a little baby. Don't buy this pile of sh**. Buy the Gamecube,PS2, and Xbox versions. This game sucks badly.

This is a realy good game. It was impressive how the 3D Granny engine did it. They didn't do it fully in 3D!! If you'd like to see the pineapple and Bikini Bottom in 3D, this game isn't for you. Plus, you can't move with the controller or keyboard!! You have to click the stupid mouse to move him. The conversation is much like the TV show by Viacom. The game is much like the movie, at 95%. Here are my Ratings:

My 5 year old son loved this game. My husband and I had to help him solve the puzzles initially but he went back and played the game by himself a number of times. This was our first PC game for our son and I loved that you have to solve the game in order to move on. There are websites to help you but we didn't discover them until after we finished it. We have bought other thq games but I don't like them nearly as well. Our son's other favorites are Battle for Bikini Bottom and Scooby Doo 2 Monsters Unleashed. The game can get a little frustrating but it is a rush when you figure out the trick. I can see why you don't want to play this game repeatedly but it took us four or five days to make it through it once. Well worth $[...].
