Hey Retards! [Posted on 2005-12-01] Make up your minds is this game good or horrible I'd like to know I'm considering buying the original. The reason I'm considering it is because I bought the game guide and everything or almost everything you said is cotradicted in it.I'll try to make this so you people can understand if it is good type "GOOD" on a review if bad type "BAD" thanks for the help. Oh and one more thing if you don't like Starwars don't write a review.
This is the only part of the game that is worthwhile [Posted on 2005-12-03] Truly I can say that Jump To LightSpeed is the only part of the new game that is worthwhile soley because it was untouched by the New Game Enhancements. The catch here is that You don't need to buy this anymore. Its been given away as part of the package deal.
One great thing is the possibilities of ships and parts you can use. You may see 2 of the same LOOKING ships in space but you can bet that they most likely have different weapons and engines.
Unfortunately this piece of SWG is not enough to keep me or the thousands of others in the game.
To be fair, this is the only part of SWG that isn't completely bugged... [Posted on 2005-12-22] I would recommend however that you spend your money on a classic like X-Wing VS Tie Fighter for the same (but better) effect. PVP is consensual - so if you'd like you can fly your little Tie Fighter in the middle of a group of X Wings and their lasers won't hurt you unless you want them to. YOu can get most ships that have been seen in the movies, but as Imperial you'll want to complete the "Jedi Starfighter" quest which gives you Anakin's Episode III fighter.
What is fun about that is that it's the best fighter in the game - so Ship building professions cannot build anything that is nearly as good and thus have become worthless... and with the advent of the NGE pushed into an even more minority status.
This expansion is also currently free with the "Starter Kit" that is also available on Amazon... but it's not really worth it.
I'd suggest buying some Chuck Norris movies.
stay away [Posted on 2006-02-04] SWG is sinking fast. Just stay away and wait for a better game. No, "Empire at War" isn't any good either.
Jump to Light Speed Expansion [Posted on 2006-02-21] Do not buy this expansion pack. It is now free for anyone that has Star Wars Galaxies. It was originally released as an expansion, but after a year, they made it available for no charge to anyone who hadn't bought it yet.
