I have used this on a number of machines and it is very effective. On one machine it found and eliminated 1400 "pests" as it refers to the spy ware. It is reasonably fast. Install is fairly easy BUT ->
The scanner may not run the first time on some machines: this can be solved by running the program from the command line version. (This seems to create some file it needs to run). After running the CL version the desktop Icon version works perfectly every time. Sadly, the support staff does not know how to fix this or any other problem. They always respond by telling you to submit a bunch of difficult to collect log files. So would rate the help as zero stars.
Once I got this running it works great. Updates are very frequently posted and often after an update a scan finds more pests. This catches many things that Window XP firewall and Norton antivirus miss. VERY worthwhile. If you are on dial-up the updates can take quite a while. Also the activity log does not work reliably but that is very minor. Be sure you are on-line when you install since it needs to run an update at install.
It got 4 stars because of the tech support and first start up issue.
