Great program, but worth the cost? [Posted on 2008-05-31]
I love Stox. It has really helped me quickly get to marketwatch and yahoo financials aggregating feeds around my stocks. The cost is way to HIGH, but I paid it. This should really be about a $25 program. I love it though, especially since they upgraded the code which made it 100% more reliant. If you are into trading, like watching certain stocks or just want to track your daily gain/lose with a certain stock there is no better program that brings it all into one place.
Great idea, poor stability [Posted on 2008-06-17]
The idea of Stox is great -- and when the program functions as designed it is great. Unfortunately, this is BY FAR the least stable Mac program I have (numerous forced quits required, data that will not upload, options that become unavailable with use). Initial customer service was prompt then disappears with no response to repeated attempts to contact. Avoid this program until the authors manage to make it stable.
