I'm not an avid bowler, I only bowled a couple of times in my life. I went down to my friends' house and he showed me this game. At first I thought "WHAT THE...?!" You can bowl as a skeleton, an alien, and a robot. It was the most funniest thing I ever saw, But it is fun! At first it's a little difficult positioning the line where the ball is going to travel, Especially when you chose characters. Getting used to each character is a challenge. And you also get to unlock bowling arenas and the 3 characters I just mentioned above. If you like bowling, buy this. I think it's little better than AMF XTREME BOWLING, as far as throwing the ball is concerned. In Strike Force Bowling it's a little difficult to get a strike, you'll just have to practice. LET'S BOWL!!!

this game sucked! I bought it, played it once and then took it back! If you are a hardcore bowler this might be for u. game play sucks. I wish that the star level could go lower! It was no fun at ALL!

MAJOR trouble loading [Posted on 2008-05-20]
I've had SO much trouble getting this game to load it's unbelievable!
IF it eventually loads (one out of maybe 20 tries) it's a cute game. I assume the problem is because the disc is navy blue. I don't have any trouble with other games.

I found this the other day in a bargain game bin at Best Buy; the price was practically next to nothing, so I picked it up. It's very different than your standard bowling game, but that's what gives it its' character & makes it fun. I spent the first 15 minutes laughing hysterically at some of the areas that you can bowl in, and the rest of the time getting addicted to the gameplay.

My favorite alley is on the pirate ship, where you have Captain Hook standing on one side waving his hook back & forth as well as a couple of ship mates waving their fists & cheering you on as you bowl. Hilarious! You have a traditional bowling alley as well as a Buddhist temple garden (complete with a Buddha statue!), a moonbase, a tropical island (with tiki heads for pins), an Egyptian desert (with the Sphinx looking on), etc. Yes, the characters have very limited movements/reactions & are a bit 1-dimensional graphics-wise, but the backgrounds & scenery are awesome!

For the low price, this isn't a bad game at all; give it a try, you'll get hooked on it!
