Total pain to get going [Posted on 2007-02-12] I'm what I consider to be computer savvy and thought I'd have little difficulty installing this software. Boy, was I wrong! I had to pay a computer person to come to my home and the hoome of the other user to install this software after MONTHS of trying to get it to work.
The reason I gave it 3 stars? Because once it was installed it works perfectly and both of us absolutely love it.
Cation [Posted on 2007-03-16] In no way am I knocking this product. However, before you buy take note that PCanywhere 12.0 in not compatible with the new Windows Vista OS. I have used Symantec's products for some time now & there are no cautions on their web site that 12.0 would not work with Vista. I only found out after buying it.
Mac users BEWARE [Posted on 2007-05-17] Even though the packaging states Ver. 12.0 will run on a Mac, be very careful. The product DOES NOT run on newer Macs with Intel Duo Core processors.
I found out after 3 calls to Symantec support. On the last call, I demanded to speak with a supervisor who admitted the shortcoming.
To make matters worse, I have to wait 60 days for Symantec to refund my money!!
Not for resale [Posted on 2007-11-23] I recieved the product today only to find the person who sold me a "New" copy of the software was selling a copy that was not for resale....
