This was a rather fun game (though, admitedly, it might've been the downfall of the Tribes games) that still has live servers to this day. If you're an oldschool fan, or a new comer and you want to check it out, it's a very fun game.

If you're a new comer, the main game type for all Tribes games is Capture the Flag (CtF). Tribes Vengeance allows massive team sizes which can make for fast paced and intense fights. There are also a larger selection of vehicles than its predecessors (multiple flying and ground). You're given three different types of armors to choose from (light, medium, and heavy) which affects your defense, as well as your mobility, and the weapons you can use. You also get backpacks that allow for different things (energy, speed, shield, etc.) which you pick based on your load out. The one thing I don't like about the game is the limited number of "favorites" you can have for your load outs. Only 9. Also, being that this game has been out for a while, if you're new to it you'll find there's a very steep learning curve to reach the people who have been playing it for the last several years.
