If you want disks which burn without error and last a long time, Taiyo Yuden is the best. They are a manufacturer of disks, not just a retailer like Memorex which stamps it's name on whatever they can get at a suitably low price. It's a shame Amazon doesn't carry a good selection of TY disks.

Not a single one were defective. All burned at 8X with a NEC 3500 drive. And judging by what others say on the Internet about this media, I think this the one to buy.
