The DVD+R media is the best for data archiving and error correction and Taiyo Yuden makes the best media so does that mean that Taiyo Yuden is the best of the best? Maybe, all I know is the media works great in all my drives without any problems with a drive recognizing the media.

This review is mainly about the media but I do want to insert a side note. The picture of the DVD+R media shown is inaccurate. The picture shows the media in a cake box spindle and what I received was a tape wrapped spindle with no cover. I contacted the seller and was told that there was an error in the picture but that they would ship out a cake box to me immediately. One month later and I am still waiting. Not a HUGE deal but, I kinda expected the cake box storage and as such I now have to find another way of storing the empty DVD's.

Still a great value and a great product.

It seems the seller has updated the picture to reflect the tape wrapped spindle which is what I received. These dvd's are the best you can buy hands down. My only complaint is that they don't come in a cake box, and I know the stack will get knocked over several times before they're used up.

Over 12 discs got rejected from my duplicating machine. When I tried them in my computer they also got rejected. I am constantly duplicating discs and get frustrated when I return to my project and find that a lot of them did not copy.

Zero errors in my first 100 disks -- ordering a second batch now.

Reviewer who complained about the packaging, however, is correct. It is not in a spindle, it is taped/plastic wrapped. I would have preferred a spindle but am re-ordering because of the quality of the product.
