A good product - but not perfect [Posted on 2008-04-27]
I use a laptop and sometimes need to enter a large amount of numbers into
various applications, so I really missed having a keypad on my keyboard.
The Targus Ultra Mini USB keyboard really goes a long way to replacing the
normal keyboard keypad. The extra USB port is a nice extra as well. The
only complaint I have is that the keypad lies flat without a built in way
to tilt it to a more comfortable angle.

The zero button is split in half and while this keypad gives you "additional" functionality, I find I just simply do not use the "000" key all that often. I wish it was more like a standard keypad. Other than that, it works great.

The only reason this did not get a 5 star rating from me was because the keys are just a tiny bit hard to press. Other than that, it is super easy and convenient to use!
NOT Mac Compatible! [Posted on 2008-07-29]
Took a chance and purchased it even though it does NOT list Mac as a "system requirement"..
it is NOT identified by either a Mac Pro (2 weeks old) or a Mac Book Pro (intel) laptop!
The keys type what they're supposed to, but ALL applications I've tested, the system beep sounds every time a key is pressed, and in some applications (Filemaker 6), the number appears and then it disappears (as if Backspace is immediately typed)...
if you have a Mac, keep your money and find something that actually works with the mac!

Despite what the package may state, this product is not mac compatible. I bought this product specifically to work in excel spread sheets and that is the only program it doesn't seem to work in. The packaging is completely false. I will never buy another Targus product. IF YOU OWN A MAC, DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!
