Teacher's Toolbox 6.0 Had an old version which would not work with Vista. Bought this "updated" version. Too many features are missing. No Save or Save As buttons - saves to hard drive automatically. Can't back up on flash drive. If laptop crashes I lose everything. Can't find files listed under AbleSoft folder. Technical support suggested a search of hard drive and then copy and paste to flash. Copies only shortcut, not actual file. I got a rebate therefore paid only $9.95 but if I can't back up files it does little good no matter what the price.

We bought this product after using tt4 for several years. The reports were claimed to be much more felexible. This is not true, I'm stay with tt4. It's not worth returning because it is opened software.

I read a previous review but find my experience to be much different. Perhaps due to the fact that I was not a user of a previous version. I was introduced to the product by a colleague. After she reviewed with me the features of the product, I decided to purchase for myself. I have found that that there is very little learning curve to begin using the product effectively. The navigation is easy and the accuracy of reporting, averaging and curving is excellent. If you haven't used grade book software for your personal use before, I highly recommend this product.

Not Practical [Posted on 2008-02-29]
I purchased this software in an effort to upgrade a copy of the first version. I have been using the original version for 15 years and have depended on it to record my grades and provide progress reports for my students. I could not figure out how to print any reports from this software and when I tried to contact the Tech Support and the Sales Support, I just got a generic response saying someone was looking into my problem. I never received any response and returned the software to Amazon. I am continuing to use my old version.
