Bad package [Posted on 2005-09-17] I bought this thinking it would be great to get all these games for one low price. The first problem I ran into was that NONE of the CD keys to install the games were included in the package. I was able to download a key generator off the internet and this allowed me to install the games.
This being said I was unable to get Black & White to run on my new computer. I was able to get the expansion game to run for black and white, but without playing the original and no easy instructions, I found it hard to figure out what to do. Big waste of time.
Freedom Fighters is a cool game. It's a shooter with the ability to add people you command as you go. A very intersting story where history has taken a different path and you are fighting an invading Russian army. Not the best shooter I played but it was good enough for me to play all the way through.
MOH Allied Invasion Rocks. A very cool game. It is one of the best shooter I have played to date. Good luck during D Day.
I did not install LOTR yet, I made this purchase for the MOH Allied Invasion and Freedom Fighter. I got what I wanted but it was almost not worth the hassle to get it installed. If you want what is advertised or you don't know what a keygen is, save yourself the agravation. Otherwise it is worth the few bucks I paid for it.
good stuff [Posted on 2005-11-14] i was so excited over this package. 4 games in one and all of them got pretty good reviews online so i checked it out.
AWESOME!! this package is definatly worth the money. Black and White is a very unique game that ive spent hours playing. Freedom Fighters is amazing. i loved the squad aspects and the action. LOTR is very cool but i have some framerate problems even tho my comp exceeds the recommended requirements. the only reason i gave this package a 4 is because medal of honor doesnt work on my computer and tech support did not help at all. I've heard good things about MOH so if it happens to work on your computer then that just makes this deal even better. This is a great package and i recommend it to all.
i got all the cd keys for all the games so the other reviewer who did not must have just been unlucky. :)
A great bargain [Posted on 2006-02-09] I was looking for the Black and White Deluxe Version (with expansion pack) and came across this. I was a little hesitant in purchasing it because one of the reviews (by Computer Dude) said none of the games have activation numbers. Let me start by saying that this is not true. This is a little four page installation manual that tells how to install all four games (really five including the Black and White expansion pack) and on the back were all five activation numbers. I installed Black and White without any problems and was up half the night playing it. The only difference between these games and the originals is that all the documentation (manuals etc.) except for the four page installation guide, are on the game CDs. So if you are looking for a couple of these games this is a great deal and the information by computer dude claiming that their are no activation numbers was inaccurate.
Awesome pack for the price [Posted on 2006-02-16] Let me start off by saying ditto to previous comments about CompDude being off track. The keys are in there. I found all four of these games to be great. I haven't gotten into the LOTR one yet because it's graphics-intensive, and I have a laptop. The other three games are cool too. For the price, it's a great deal (compare to buying the titles individually)!
Overpriced here on Amazon [Posted on 2006-10-03] Don't spend the $60 someone is charging for this. Just go to Best Buy and buy the package for $20. LOL
