Great graphics but bad controls. [Posted on 2007-03-09] A wonderful addition to the series and a must for the TR fans.
The graphics are amazing and and I look forward to the release of "Anniversary" this spring.
The only real issue I have with the game is the controls, those programmers just cannot leave well enough alone. It's so unlike the others in the series that transitioning between them is difficult and frustrating for me. I miss the old setup. The new setup Does makes it almost imposable to walk poor Lara off a cliff so that kinda makes up for the some of the problems but not all.
This series hooked me the very first time I played it and now I own all of them. The TR games a wonderful addition to any gamers stock and I would recommend any in the series for hours of fun.
May want to buy differently. [Posted on 2007-09-17] I love the games, however, I do not suggest you buy them like this and here is why.
Tomb raider 2 and 3 have The Golden Mask and The Lost Artifact respectively that are sequels to the games. I would look for them after-market from someone who is selling both, or find the sequels cheap and them buy this item, however, if you do not have an older pc with windows 98se or earlier, Tomb Raider one is a waste of money.
So, you may want to buy the games differently if you cannot play TR one because of XP or Vista, which are not compatible with Tomb Raider 1.
