Works well! [Posted on 2008-03-02] I bought this to use with my new 2GB Compact Flash memory. It transfers files quickly and works well with windows vista. Appart from CF cards I've used it to read/write memory stick (normal/pro/pro duo), Transflash, SD and MMC cards. So far no complaints. By the way, it's much smaller than it looks in the picture which is a nice addition when travelling.
Works Great [Posted on 2008-04-11] I bought one of these to use at work for transferring files between a computer and a data recorder that uses CompactFlash cards. I've also begun using it for other tasks such as transferring files between computers on different LANs (process/IT). It has worked so well, I've since bought one for my daughter to upload pictures from her camera. I can only speak for CompactFlash cards and SD cards as that's all I've used, but it has worked well on various computers, though I think all are XP platforms. Five stars because it does exactly what it claims to do without any hassle.
Kingston card reader works well [Posted on 2008-04-12] The card reader arrived quickly. It works flawlessly with both my mac G4 mini and intel macbookpro. They're both running OS 10.4.11. Thus far, I've only used it for the compact flash cards from my DSLRs.
Great deal for the price [Posted on 2008-04-20] I have owned this item for just over 3 months, and have had no problems at all. Reads the cards just fine, have had no errors or loose fitting slots. Overall for $15 it serves it purpose, and performs well. No complaints.
There is no adaptor for the mini sd card.
Card Reader [Posted on 2008-05-05] Works great and reads all of the various memory cards we have in all of our stuff. I wanted a card reader that didn't require its own power - I've already got enough adapters under the desk from the cable modem, routers, external HDs, monitors, printers, cordless phones, etc. Also, because I don't have to mess with an extra power supply, I can use it with my laptop when traveling and don't need to bother with power. Plugged into my Mac and recognized just fine, no software or driver installs - tried it on the PC just to see and didn't have to install anything there either. Thanks!
