My daughter loves this toy! She's only 4 months and it's recommended for 6 and up, but she loves the flashing buttons and is learning to push the buttons to make it sing. She talks to it and I think may be trying to sing with it sometimes. It has enough variety to not make it annoying for me either. The buttons both have different features. You can press the head down and it does something different. You can also turn each wing around and they create sounds as well. With different combinations of twists, button pushes and head bops, there are dozens of different sounds and songs. I don't feel like I have to hide this toy. I especially like the on/off and volume switch. Excellent toy!
The only thing I don't like much about this toy is that if you want to attach it to a surface, the surface must be absolutely flat. It will not stick to her swing tray or on her excersaucer. She likes to hold it in her hands though. The wings are very flexible, so she can grasp them in her tight little fists.
