Don't waste your money! [Posted on 2003-12-06] I have never been as disappointed with a purchase as I am with this one. The results are a blurry unrecognizable blob of a poor excuse of a picture. My first toy Intel webcam that I bought 6 years ago seems like a Nikon 5700 compared to this thing. Shame on the manufacturer that has the audacity to sell this product as a legitimate camera at any price!
WARNING: check compatiblility !! [Posted on 2003-12-20] Since this camera works w/ PocketPC 2003, I assumed it would be compatible w/ a Toshiba 755. Apparently it is not because the software installs but my PDA will not recognize the camera, and I have tried all of the troubleshooting solutions. The camera may be defective, but whichever, I regret it because it looks like a good product otherwise. The reply I got from Veo support re the problem: "we think this camera is compatible with Dell Axim X3, Toshiba e400, e800 and All hp P/PCs. We haven't tested Toshiba e740." Veo offered a full refund on return, but this is a disappointment.
No driver for Palm OS devices [Posted on 2004-01-14] A 1.3MP camera is ideal for PDA. When would drivers be enabled for Palm OS devices, such as T3?
not bad for 1.3 MP, works with my T3 [Posted on 2004-10-08] Just bought one over the intenet and downloaded the driver for my T3 palm. So far I've found it takes well balanced color pictures (as long as lighting is adequate) with the expected resolution limitations of a 1.3 MP camera. You can transfer the pics to palm Photos and transfer them to the computer during hotsync without difficulty. So far no real complaints besides the noticeable shutter delay after pressing the button.
Sweet Camera, Sweet price [Posted on 2005-07-23] This is a nice camera for the price. At default it will snap a pic at 1280x1024. I am running a Dell AXIM X30 the thing runs nicely. The quality of pics it takes is NICE. I would recommend this camera to anyone with a compatible PDA device.
