Only 60 cents per a true 'archival' CD--vs. $1.25 for anything better . Buy this 'crystal' one but maybe not from AntOnline. [Posted on 2007-10-28]
If you are going to bother to inscribe anything to CD, might as well pay a few cents extra to make sure it lasts. For my detailed review of best values in archival DVD's and CD's see: Verbatim DVD-R DataLifePlus White Inkjet Printable
Just be sure to A. get this 'crystal' version DatalifePlus CD with scratch resistance. And B. do not get the Verbatim 'Datalife' without the 'Plus,' it is not at all the same and not a good value. (Evidently, at the time of writing this, Verbatim DatalifePlus in DVD has no 'crystal' version that mentions scratch resistance, but is nonetheless also a top value. See my above-mentioned review for details.)
Also perhaps I am prejudiced by one bad review of AntOnline, but in addition, I do not like their practice of listing the supposedly lowest price for the product--with outrageous shipping cost added. I bought from MyOfficeSource. Priced higher but shipping lower, total about the same.
