Good HD, Inaccurate Picture (not portable!) [Posted on 2008-02-11]
The product is good -- and is an external firewire harddrive -- but the picture and description create the impression of a portable and bus-powered drive (like all of the other CrossFire FW HDs). However, this product is larger -- sits on the desktop, isn't really portable, and ships with an external AC power adapter.

That said, it's a good HD and I'll keep it. It's just not what I wanted and thought would be arriving.

Nice, seemingly robust item.
Comes as it says, although the supplied firewire connector is the larger type and won't interface with my laptop socket, I guess I have to get the smaller version to use the faster xfer speeds.

the picture is wrongggggg... i thought i was getting a different hard drive!!!!!! thanks for nothing i dont want a desktop hard drive!!!!!! this is very very annoying never buying from adorama again!!! FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!!
