Viewsonic VA1912wb [Posted on 2007-05-09] I'm happy with the overall performance of the Monitor. One small irritant is that the connections on the back are buried beneath an access panel that is difficult to remove.
My single experience with ViewSonic phone support was not good.
The technician was abrupt. As a result of that encounter, I will never buy another ViewSonic product.
great monitors and great prices [Posted on 2007-05-13] I have purchased about 8 so far for our office, it works great for both Mac and Windows.
not for regular work [Posted on 2007-05-14] i think this monitor is too bright and even adjusting controls doesnt improve it. I wouldn't recommend this one for reading text. But to see pictures it is not too bad.
Be aware of its quality [Posted on 2007-07-13] I bought four ViewSonic VA1912WB Widescreen LCD's not long ago, from CompUSA online, for my company. After two weeks, one of them went bad, the screen showing a kind of bright grey tone, as if it was in an e-coma. Called ViewSonic and was told it might be an inverter problem. Sent it back at my own expense, at ViewSonic's unfair insistance. Received it back today. Not sure how long it (together with the other three) will last. I have one 17-inch Dell LCD and two 19-inch Acer LCD's at home. The Dell is 4-5 years old and the Acers are about one year old. Never heard of two-week-premature demise before until this ViewSonic proved that how much more I need to learn out there.
In case ViewSonic has been watching customer posting like this, my serial number is QBN070270372, and I welcome your getting in touch with me if you wish, to update me on your quality control to back up your name image.
VeiwSonic LCD [Posted on 2007-10-04] This monitor is a great value. Works beautifully. The item does not come with an instruction book, so initial settings were a little difficult, but mostly a no brainer.
