Excellent product [Posted on 2006-02-23] I have a 1.2 GHz computer that is 5 years old, but it has an AGP port. I wanted a game card because I have the Intel chip which doesn't allow you to play a lot of the video games. Also, I didn't think my computer would support much more than 128MB without burning up. I read several reviews on game cards before making my puchase and noted that a big problem is that people purchase game cards that are too powerful for their computer and then either their slot burns up or their power supply does. I spoke with the Radeon manufacturer about which card was best for me and then purchased through Amazon because they had the best price! This card was easy to install and hasn't disappointed me. I mostly play the adventure games and am not into the more graphically oriented combat games that would require more horsepower. This is an excellent product.
Another happy customer [Posted on 2006-04-26] My use is primarily office applications, including PowerPoint presentations with fairly large bit maps (e.g. a meg a slide and dozens of slides). This card is driving two 20" ViewSonic LCD monitors in analog mode under Windows 2000, each at 1680 x 1050 pixels. So, the total desktop area across dual displays is 3360 x 1050. It keeps up just fine. Like the previous reviewer, I was concerned about power requirements, having filled most every slot. Time will tell how this card holds up, but so far, so good.
