If you love the music you hear as you play, you will enjoy the soundtracks for the game where the songs are in their entirety. If you have yet to make it into Outland, you can hear the songs you will hear once you get there at 60. The re-stylized familiar songs we all know so well are here, too. The lament of our Dark Lady of the Forsaken, Sylvanas Windrunner, which is performed as a particular Blood Elf quest finale, is a bonus track. Complete the quest to appreciate the performance; entire song is in game and/or you can listen to it here.
90% of the reason I bought the CE Burning Crusade [Posted on 2007-09-07]
Music is a big deal for me in games, and the music in WoW is extremely well done in my opinion, so of course I was all over the soundtrack for the Burning Crusade. The music done for Outlands is even better than the original themes, and the bonus tracks include a sort of remix of the very familiar tavern/inn theme which is probably my favorite on the whole CD.
