Wildlife Park vs. Zoo Tycoon - WLP wins [Posted on 2004-04-05] Wildlife Park belongs to the Tycoon kind fo games. The only other game out there covering both the same subject and genre is Zoo Tycoon by Microsoft. Having seen both, my preference is "Wildlife Park". While comparable in many aspects WLP wins out: The graphics and especially the seamless animation give the whole environment a much more natural appearance. Building options like e.g. bridges provide more options to create YOUR park. Overall Wildlife Park offers more depth in interaction (animals with toys) and gameplay when it comes to managing the animals where social needs and the like make up the challenge of breeding offspring.
Rating [Posted on 2004-07-03] IT DOES NOT TELL YOU THE RATING AND I AM ONLY 11. I WANT TO NOW IF I AM ALOUD TO PLAY THIS GAME. ONCE ON A DIFFERENT WEB SITE IT SAID FOR CHILDREN 12+ AND ANOTHER ONE SAID NR (NOT RATED)
awesome [Posted on 2004-12-03] Wonderful game. Given to our son (5yrs) as a gift. He needed a little help in the beginning, but quickly figured out how to do it himself. He'll come running upstairs asking what certain animals eat and now knows all about plexiglass. It's addictive. We have so much fun doing it together and typically fight over the mouse. He's learning so much about animal habitats as well. We play for fun - he's too young to understand the concept of "making a profit". We love it!!!
This Game Is Very Nice [Posted on 2006-11-03] First you place fences ( make sure that you made a big enough enclosure ) , then you place the animal home ( the place where the animal(s) live ) then you place feed ( make sure you hired an Animal Keeper to keep feed in it ) then water, toys, trees ( depending on the specie )
and when your animal feels comfortabble in its enclosure you will hire a vet(for the whole park) and a play mate if it is smart and intelligent. I will not get in to much detail on the visitors . Well this game wins with me!
