basically, your a military leader and stratigist incharge of what otherwise would be "Wing Commander" Though not the concordia or anything like that, but you can do much more than just fly around blasting kitty cats(I would've chosen dogs myself) for your Admiral. You do this too as in Strike Commander where "The Commander" is in the action with his pilots(unlike stratigy purists games today-you get a peice of the action there too!-) but also making(though rather elementry compared to this) air base descisions about finance and use of equipment(as chief commanders often do) as well as mission desisions. IN Armada you control the game that got it started, Wing Commander and the fleets involved. YOU, not Tolwin or some other guy must be responstible too for your fleet's F ups and piolot errors.(you can play online in a limited capacity). Oh, and this is a DOS game and "online" is -very- limited nowadays! it is availible for a steep "collector's" price brand new or you can get it used at a second hand store/e-bay or the like.
