I purchased this set after the plug in spot for my old key board stopped working. (So I had to get a USB Keyboard.) The mouse was an extra. But considering I only paid $31.00 for it at walmart it was a good deal. The prices for key boards alone are around 20 and higher and the cordless mice prices are 25 and higher. This keyboard has shorter keys. (which will make since when you open it and start typing.) which places them a little closer together. But thats ok. it also types very quietly. I some how type pretty loud so it is nice to have a quiet key board. Both take AAA batteries which were included. (Duracell was included) But over all it has to be my fav key boards. The mouse is nice to. i have had three different cordless mice and this one picks up very fast when you plug it in. I have had a cordless mouse that takes a good five minutes for the USB plug in to pick it up. Both the mouse and the keyboard run off of one USB plug.. This also comes with some software. But I never had to install it so I never did. So I am not sure exactly what it is. But this is a very nice Set!!!

Love this keyboard. Cheap, pretty solid construction, mouse wheel is insanely stiff, but whatever. Can be picked up MUCH cheaper at WalMart(where I got it)..$19.80 to be exact.

I bought this at Wal Mart. It worked well for about 2 months, just long enough that I could not return it, then it started acting up. Most of the time it just quit and I would unplug the USB and replug it and it would work again. Then my computer started saying that it didn't recognize the USB. When I found that I couldn't return it I emailed the company. I received an automated email that said they would respond in 24 hours, but they never responded. Not a positive experience!

The keyboard is ok but the mouse quit working after about three days. Wrote to company no one wrote me back.
