This is absolutely false advertisement. The product description states that it is bidirectional in more than 20 languages. They specify Swedish and Finnish but these languages are no where to be found on the product CD or on their website. Furthermore Wizcom customer service is CRAP. They have a toll free customer service number which directs you to an email address. All emails bounce back from that address. Basically there is no after sale customer service.
I bought the product because I am studying Swedish and my girlfriend is Finnish Swede. After reading the product description we were WOW this could really help us both. My girlfriend can use it for English Finnish (and Finnish English) and I can do the same with Swedish. To our surprise these languages were not available, they only had unidirectional English to Swedish. We could not get in touch with Wizcom to give us what they promised. The reseller got in touch with them and they said that this pen does not support Finnish. The strange thing is that they maintain these claims on their official website (more than 30 languages bidirectional for the Super Pen) This is my first and last experienc with Wizcom!!!

Good functional scanning pen [Posted on 2008-04-16]
I have used this scanning pen for only a few items, but it seems to work as advertised. The included documentation indicated that the pen would work 'out of the box,' but I had to download a dictionary to the pen in order to make it work.
This is the second pen that I received. The first one seemed to be very erratic. The batteries didn't appear to work, so I used new ones that I had on hand. Then, sometimes a menu item would be available on the pen and the next time it was not there. As instructed by the help desk, I removed the internal card and cleaned the contacts. This made the original missing menu item appear, but then another was missing. The original batteries did work after my cleaning. I finally returned this apparently erratic pen and it was courteously replaced by another which is now working as expected and advertised.

I was given the superpen as a gift to help with my grad school research, but I doesn't work on my Mac. When I contacted customer service about what software I could use or if it will run on a windows parallel system, they just said "tough luck."

I received an excellent service from Amazon, but i got not service at all from tech support.
