When's the Next One? [Posted on 2008-12-17] I guess I should open up the rest of the box and take a look at what came with it. I think we got some Death Knight cards or something? Maybe a new mousepad? To be honest, I only got it for the collectible pet. Yay for Achievements!
Great game. [Posted on 2008-12-20] Although the price might be a little bit much, I think it is worth it. I've been playing World of Warcraft for almost 3 years now, and still love it. The little pet you get for this collectors edition is rather cute, too! Sounds like a Dolphin! Anyway, I would recomend this game to anyone who loves gameing.
WOW Wrath of the Lich King [Posted on 2008-12-21] Great game Recommend to anyone who wants to continue playing WOW to upgrade to expansion pack. If you can afford a few extra dollers get the collector's edition for all the extras. It's worth it.
The best keeps getting better [Posted on 2008-12-26] I suppose very few people will be new to the World of Warcraft these days. There are now 11.5 million people who play the game, worldwide.
And, yet,on it's second expansion- did Blizzard make the game better? Did it do enough to keep and retain those hooked players?
In my estimation, yes.
- Entry level raids, for better or worse, are not skull-destroyers- as were those at the dawn of TBC
- Graphics in Northrend are phenomenal. A major step-up.
- Talents, spells and (for the most part) PVE balance are in tune
- Dungeons- the 5mans of old- are devoid of the horrors that were Shattered Halls or Shadow Labyrinth (at TBC's onset)
- The Deathknight... is fun.
So, unequivocally, the expansion is a success.
Get it. Enjoy WoW again.
WoW Rocks [Posted on 2008-12-31] This Game Rocks but please know you must have the original game with Burning Crusades already installed for it to work.
