Great stuff, a must for your tool ! [Posted on 2007-05-12] A must for your SwissChamp tool. Has multiple color options. Easily belts in.
Making a great tool even better [Posted on 2007-05-15] Well built and relatively inexpensive, this pouch provides an excellent way to carry the Swiss Champ that I literally "never leave home without." Up until buying the pouch, I'd carry my knife in my pants pocket along with whatever else I'd end up putting in there. This would make it hard to get to sometimes, a problem that is now a thing of the past. Also, my knife has a clock on the side panel that is easily scratched, so the pouch saves wear and tear on that.
Over the years, I've found that putting a large knife in my pocket tends to wear out my pants in the area of the pocket. That also will no longer be happening.
To balance things out, though, I will add that if you are already carrying a cell phone on your belt, this will make things a bit more crowded. And obviously if you find yourself needing the knife in a formal office environment, hanging it from your belt may not be your preferred solution. But for me that's not an issue.
Overall, I'm definately pleased with this purchase.
Xtra Large Zermatt Pouch [Posted on 2008-10-10] This product came in a very quick excellent condition fashion! It was just a tad to short for the tool my husband wanted it for but it is top quality leather so he uses it for something else he needs for work. It is especially handy because of the loop to put on your belt!
horrible product [Posted on 2008-10-22] impossible to open . the leather rips before the button breaks free . 1 star.
Quality Product, Tight Fit [Posted on 2008-11-02] This is a well made product that seems like it will hold up well over time. One complaint I have is the excessively tight fit with the Victorinox Swiss Champ for which this pouch was recommended. The knife has to be placed in a certain orientation in order for it to sit at the bottom and the pouch lid to be snapped.
