To put it as simple as possible, this game and system is great. I'm a big fan of bowling so when I heard about this new virtual system and bowling game, I had to get it...and I had my doubts. But this is by far, one of the most fun games I have ever played in my life.

Pros:
-Very realistic. Where you aim is where the ball goes.
-Game Modes. If you get tired of just bowling normal games, try one of many different games that are all fun. And play with up to 8 people in a tournament.
-Time. If you're playing by yourself, you can bowl an entire game easily in under 10 minutes.
-Learning Curve. One game and you'll understand where to stand, how to throw, etc.

Cons:
-Rug Burn. I have a rug burn on my toe from dragging it on the carpet.
-Loss of sleep. Plan on not sleeping much. It's tough to put that ball down...I swear it's calling my name.

All in all, well worth the money. This system and game will definitely get lots of use. A must buy for any and all bowling fans.

Got it 4 christmas! Real neat! You can bowl with up to 8 people in a tournement, 4 in a regular game, plus extra games, like moving pins, against the clock, and panel crusher.

MY BIGGEST PROBLEM WITH THE GAME IS THAT IT DOESNT HELP MY REAL BOWLING,IT REALLY SCREWS UP MY REAL BOWLING!!!! BOWLING A 14 OUNCE BALL IS MUCH DIFFERENT THAN A 14 POUND BALL AND IT MAKES REAL BOWLING AWKWARD AT FIRST! OTHERWISE, THE GAME IS COOL!

the premade characters- they are very limited and quite stupid.

the high score people, after playing a special game, while comparing your score with the top 5 you notice there are pre set records from strange unknown people.

the inability to throw the ball sometimes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

being forced to press 'enter' after every bowler finishes in a 2 bowlers or more game!

dont get me wrong this is an awesome game!!!! whenever i'm bored i go straight to bowling!

This game is great! It's just like being at being at the real bowling alley! It's great for all ages ... even my 2 and 3 year olds enjoy this game! 5 stars!!!!!!

I hesitated to buy a playstation, or nintendo TV systems. I'm glad because my kids are hooked on Xavix. You don't sit on your bottom and exercise your thumbs, you have to get out of your seat and actually use some physical activity. Kids and grown-ups easily get into the act. It is also a game you won't get bored playing with your kids. I bought Xavix baseball and bowling last year for Christmas. This year, we purchased boxing. I can't wait to play it with the kids and also use it as a work out while they are at school! Xavix hasn't been marketed to well in the US, it's more popular in Japan. Spread the word and have some fun.

It's a fun game after all, it's a nice game to have everyone play the game. The idea of using a bowling ball to actually play the game is awsome, not like console games were you use a remote.
