Xbox 360 12 millon users on line can't be wrong [Posted on 2008-09-20] MS doesn't usually get it right, especially with there computer operating systems software (THE DARK SIDE), but they got it right with the Xbox 360, great solo games and xbox live online. Love the online website and being able to DL free game demos, and content. Sony PS3 gamers website could learn a thing or two from Xbox live as far as games / content.
The xbox 360 is 3+ years old but it should be a good seller this Xmass with the lower prices now avaiable. The plus's are the HD display, great assortment of games available, backward compatable with a lot of org. xbox games, xbox live ($50 mbrs a year- Sony gamer website free) 10 million + user group.
The minus is the Halo Edition should of come with a 80+gig HD (120gig HD is $179), should of come with built in wireless ($99 add on- Sony PS 3 built in), a blue-ray player instead of HD player.
The Halo series of games is a must have for this version on the Halo xbox edition. See ya on line, co-op gamer.
love system hate the console [Posted on 2008-09-22] my wife bought this for me last christmas<2007> I've had a problem with the ethernt port since I got it.. I have to plug and unplug it untill it final decides it want to get a ip address.. tried very many diff. ways of connecting and settings. I love playing halo and finished the whole solo in like 8 days after work and so forth.. but anywho I went back to play campaign again with my brother and it says disk read error.. took disk back which was scrached and tried a new disk same thing. plays solo though fine.. all I can think is it's a cd drive read problem.system also hangs and freezes.. As for the 360 it's self though I love it listen to music and do many other fun thingss.
Moar Halo Plz [Posted on 2008-10-06] I bought the 360 the day it came out but unfortunately it died from the Red Ring of Death and nobody (including Microsoft) could fix it. But I took this opportunity to show some of my Halo fanboyism and pick up this console. It definitely goes well with my Halo 3 Legendary Edition helmet and Halo 3 Xbox 360 carrying case/backpack. And even though the description said it was used, the thing looked brand new to me. Great purchase for any Halo fan.
Gay-lo Losers - Swallow This!! [Posted on 2008-11-01] This is a no-brainer for anyone who knows Microsoft. This crap has the same horrible durability that the non-flashy 360's have. It can still get the "Red Rings Of Death", still crash and still piss you off. If you're a weak imbecile enticed by flashy colors and pretty designs - like I'm sure many of you Gay-lo losers are, then this one's for you! The only f*ckin idiots who would buy this console are, like I mentioned above, GAYLO LOSERS.
Hey, this is something to add to your Bungie garbage pile! Make your friends and other various losers jealous with the one-of-a-kind green vomit edition of a terrible game system! Swallow this bungie whores!
A great looking system. [Posted on 2008-12-01] I bought my system after Christmas last year, and have had no problems at all. I treat it like I do all my electronics, it gets plenty of air, it's never on for more than 7 hours, and when it does get hot, I turn on the fan base. The system itself looks great, and being a Halo fan myself, I couldn't resist. Yeah, the 360 suffers from the dreaded RRoD, and even taking care of it can still warrant a visit from the lights, but again, we all knew what we were getting into when we bought our boxes, so why act like sending it away to get repaired is the end of the world? It's not like it's a car or anything.
