Amazing product [Posted on 2008-02-20] This cable is the best DVI to HDMI cable I have used yet. I'm currently using it to write this review on my LCD TV. The connectors are sturdy and have good construction, and the plug casings are tough as well. The plug casings are small enough to be used even in tight port places like on my laptop, and the rubber coating on them makes them easy to grip and identify when reaching behind things.
Video quality is great and it does exactly what the description says it will. And of course it ships with the connector covers for when you're not using it.
Excellent [Posted on 2008-04-05] This cable works great with my MacBook Pro and Samsung 1080P LCD. I get full HD from my MacBook Pro. Great product.
Great Cable [Posted on 2008-06-03] I bought this cable to hook up my MBP to my 32" Sony Bravia and it works beautifully. HD content looks amazing on my TV.
The cable itself is perfect because it isn't too thick like many other DVI-HDMI cables I've encountered.
I only gave it 4 stars because I wish it were longer. XtremeMac only offers one size for this cable and thats 2 meters (6.6ft). I had to modify my setup a bit to get my MBP closer to my TV.
Overall though it's a great quality cable.
FATTY! [Posted on 2008-07-04] I've got a Mac Pro with an 8800GT video card. If you plan on using more than one display with your mac pro, do NOT buy this cable! The plastic casing around the DVI end is too wide. I can't fit a regular sized DVI cable on the second port, let alone another one of these fatties. With any other mac, you should be fine, but this does not suit my needs at all and was a waste of (already too much) money.
