Writes and reads faster than the older 100mb drive offered by this manufacturer. I recommend it for those dealing with colleagues/customers who can't/won't deal with CD R/RW drives for data sharing.

Since this drive connects to the motherboard via an Eide/ATAPI cable I was a little unsure of it's performance compatability with Vista. The Iomega web site states that Windows Vista would support it. I wanted an internal drive since I had an available bay in my new HP tower. It works great and is faster than the external drive I use on my older Dell computer. Zip drives have been in use for several years and have proven very reliable. My older drive is 9 yrs old and still works great, but not with Vista, and is slower.
