My headphone cord always got tangled, but this winds out to however long you need it to be and the spring allows it to wind back up when you are finished using it.
It's a great idea for a product and I enjoy using it.

This product is ok. It did what it was supposed to but it did it for a few months. After a while, I noticed that I had to increase the volume on whatever I was listening to. Turns out that the connection was bad. I had to fiddle around with the audio jack (on the extender, not the headphone) in order to get full sound. Very unfortunate and very annoying.
