Addicted and loving it [Posted on 2007-07-15] I bought this from Target and I'm just loving it. I loved the online version at PopCap Games' website, but had trouble with the Deluxe version at first. The screen seemed too big for a game that relies a lot on peripheral vision. However, you can stop it from running in full-screen mode and that smaller window made all the difference for me. At $9.99, this a great price, too. There seems to be no difference between this $10 version and the $20 version also being sold online. I believe someone said the price difference was due to different packaging. The Zuma and Peggle addictions are now spreading like wildfire among all my family and friends. Good luck tearing yourself away!
FRUSTRATING FUN [Posted on 2007-10-17] Love this game, it is addicting. Good for my self-esteem until I get to level 8, which I have been trying to get past for weeks (in spare time of course!). I don't know how many levels are in Level 8, but as long as I can be successful at 8-1, I can feel good about myself. Was this game meant to be impossible at Level 8-3?
The game has a quirk in that it slows down at times, otherwise, no problems.
FUN COLOR FRENZIE! [Posted on 2007-11-27] It is said that a good chef is one that can cook-up miracles with scraps. This is such a miracle: enclosed within only a few MBs the MUMBO-JUMBO team has enclosed a game you will ENJOY GREATLY!!
A series of colored balls (with the number of different colors increasing every few levels) gets pushed and you have to match them in sets of three or more in order to remove them - and prevent them from reaching the end zone. There are two different modes: numbered balls per level and endless ball-trains in a specific level. Both are exceptional addictive!!
This is a perfect example of what has come to be known as Casual Gaming. It would be a good idea to download the 60-min trial version from a site, such as REFLEXIVE (you can Google it), and decide for yourself whether this is indeed your cup of tea.
Everybody can make a good game that will run only on a super-computer. This is an example of pure programming genius!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
Fun for the whole family! [Posted on 2007-12-13] This is fun for the whole family. Got for my husband and the kids play it just as much.
